Who we are

We are two best friends who love dogs and taking hikes around the Tri-State area.

Liddy Lackner is a Columbia University graduate who lives in Morris County, New Jersey, with her family and doodle Dolly, a fluffball of energy who requires burning off a lot of energy each and every day.

Jose Duran is a University of Florida graduate and a recent New York City transplant from Miami. Jose previously worked as a full-time journalist in South Florida. His favorite birthday present ever was his first childhood dog at the age of 7.

They started Expedition Canine in 2025, combining their love of dogs and the outdoors.
